Curriculum & Instruction Division
The curriculum division strives to create a course of study that provides all students with basic to secondary educational skills & knowledge; develop a literate population ensuring a high competency in English, mathematics, science, & social studies.
The Curriculum Division is responsible for the development, provision & evaluation of curricula offered at all Yap State public elementary & high schools.
Curriculum & Instruction Division activities include:

Development & review of Grade 1-12 curriculums & curriculum assessment tests to measure student achievement

Development, production & procurement of instructional materials to support the curriculum.

Provision of workshops & training for teachers & principals in curriculum subject content and delivery.

Classroom observations with provision of follow-up teacher support & assistance.
